Peter Island Ferry
Check with your villa concierge to make sure that charter flights or ferry service will be available if you arrive after 4pm. Otherwise, plan to spend a night or two in Tortola before exploring the rest of 'Nature's Little Secrets'.
Peter Island Boat (tel. 284/495-1288), departs Tortola from the pier at Trellis Bay, near the airport. Other boats depart six or seven times a day from Baugher's Bay in Road Town, on Tortola. Peter Island Ferry (PHONE: 284/495-2000).
There's no nonstop service from the continental United States to Tortola's Terrence B. Lettsome Airport (EIS), located on Beef Island adjoining the East End of Tortola, or the Virgin Gorda Airport (VIJ); connections are usually made through San Juan, Puerto Rico, or St. Thomas, USVI.
Air Sunshine (PHONE: 284/495-8900, www.airsunshine.com) flies from San Juan and St. Thomas to both Tortola and Virgin Gorda.

A valid U.S. Passport is necessary to pass through customs at Tortola Airport.

Peter Island Departure Tax
The departure tax is $5 per person by boat and $10 per person by plane. There's a separate booth at the airport and ferry terminals to collect this tax, which must be paid in cash.
